TREATMENT PROGRAM
Treatment starts with the intake process; it is a highly structured procedure that attempts to accomplish multiple tasks, simultaneously. The intake process begins by providing the clients with an orientation to CCADA. Clients are informed of the purpose of the program, and expectations of it's participants.
The program is operated with strict confidentiality, hours of operation and a wide range of referral services CCADA uses to assist in meeting it's clients needs. A full diagnostic profile involving a social history, psychological profile, urinalysis and physical examinations are performed.
A tentative plan if formulated immediately following the intake, which focuses on the clients immediate needs, including referral services needed, schedule of program participation, the counselor assigned to the client's identification number.
A discharge plan is developed for each client in advance of the date of termination. It serves as a guide to determine when discharge is appropriate (based upon client's accomplishments/ progress while in treatment) and, as a means of setting up an aftercare plan once the client actually stops active program participation. The discharge plan includes suggested supportive services needed and a schedule for client follow-up is manditory.
POST PARTUM CLINIC
CCADA has opened a Post Partum Clinic to deal with special problems of pregnant and post partum substance abusers.
Along with the treatment modality, special emphasis is placed on nutrition and healthcare for both mother and child. This center also includes a daycare facility since one of the greatest reasons for mothers not completing treatment is due to the lack of child care. This program allows women to enter recovery and to focus on thier children's early development.
The center is open for twelve hours, five days a week and is fully equipped to accomodate a referral source of educational needs, job placement and a social worker on staff to provide social services.
